Entry DescriptionIn 2019, with outgrowing her first Boutique for luxury Interiors in Scottsdale, Jennifer Wilson - friend, owner and spirit behind Spacebazaar, enlisted us to develop a new showroom experience.
Our clients belief in bringing the beauty and quality of Italian Design, Aesthetic and Lifestyle to the American Southwest drove the vision for a new 4,000SF boutique showroom in the heart of Scottsdale Arizona.
Often, when envisioning the experience of spaces, we consider approach and entry sequence, hierarchies guiding our gaze and interest driving the user experience and human perception thru lighting.
The two main zones of east entry and west main floor are separated by a dropped ceiling core zone, with wet-cells, storage and built-ins. Those dropped ceilings hold systems and MEP infrastructure, while allowing the high ceilings to maximize spatial relief. In such zones a minimal zig zag suspension cable with downlights ensures code compliant egress lighting while amplifying the elegance of Italian Design Aesthetic and putting lighting and furniture on display.
Hierarchies are set thru the lighting and drawing interest to distinct pieces throughout the showroom.
