Entry Description

The Nest fixture was custom designed for a specific hotel project.
When a guest walks through the doors of Ion City, a boutique Icelandic hotel, the The Nest fixture is the first thing to greet them. The interwoven fixture, perched above the reception desk, welcomes guests with the universal symbol of home. Diffused light radiates through the freely intertwined faux reeds. Inspired by birds nest's, the delicate weaving motion is juxtaposed with rock solid steel, set in place to protect those dwelling within. Like the migrating bird, the Nest makes Ion City Hotel every travelerâ€™s home-away-from home.
