Entry Description

The project was to create a new ultrasound workroom, bathroom and staff area for a pediatric hospital. The ultrasound room has LED rgb lights around the room and in the cove as well as white lights above the bed for emergency situations. The patient is allowed to pick the color of the room when they enter the space via controller on the wall. This works very well with the white walls in the space. Once in the exam chair the patient is then allowed to change the color of the cove via tablet during the exam. This allows for a stress free exam for both patient and caregiver. 3500k LED lights were placed around the bed for emergency situations. During an emergency with a single touch of the button all RGB light cuts off and only white lights are on.The work room contains dimmable up/down pendents for staff comfort. The bathroom contains a backlit LED mirror and a 1500 lumen down light. All lights are dimmable LEDs in all the spaces. Occupancy sensors were incorporated for energy savings.
