Entry Description

The owner decided to go with an open ceiling concept for a 10 story office building and we were challenged with lighting the space without taking away from that concept. Fixtures were chosen that were injected molded meaning you could see through the lens when the fixture was off or dimmed down. We also used fixtures that were extremely efficient so we could have wide spacing to show more of the open ceiling. In areas that had traditional ceilings a mixture of pendants and recessed linear lighting was used to create several layers of light in the rooms. Pendants with color shades were chosen to add a bit of pizzazz in the break areas to make the space feel warm and not so sterile so that it truly felt like a break from work. The outside lighting was designed to accentuate the tall columns and canopy.
