INSPIRED BY ELLIPTICAL SHAPED CHINESE PAPER LANTERNS AND WATER FEATURES FROM SURROUNDING LANDSCAPE, THE BUILDING FORM CONSISTS OF TWO PARTS: PRIMARY ELLIPTICAL INNER STRUCTURE AND OUTER FACETED STRUCTURAL ENVELOPE THAT SLEEVES OVER THE ELONGATED CORE. THE FACETED DIAMOND-SHAPED STRUCTURE CONTRASTS WITH THE GLASS INNER STRUCTURE, ALLOWS LIGHTING TO ARTICULATE THE THREE-DIMENSIONAL EXOSKELETON AGAINST ITS REFLECTIVE GLASS FAÇADE, FOR A REFLECTIVE SHIMMERING OF THE SKY DURING DAYTIME, AND REFLECTION OF THE STRUCTURAL FAÇADE LIGHTING AT NIGHT. CAREFULLY POSITIONED FLOODLIGHTS AND LINEAR ACCENT LIGHTS, INTEGRATED INTO BMU SYSTEMS AND INTERSTITUAL CURTAINWALL SPACES, PROVIDE THREE DMX LIGHTING CONTROL POINTS PER DIAGRAD, FOR A MYRIAD OF PROGRAMMABLE LIGHTING OPPORTUNITIES. CROWN MOUNTED FLOODLIGHTS WASH UPPER GLASS FINS, MEANWHILE CONTINUOUS LINEAR LED FIXTURES AT LOWER GLASS FINS TOPS GRAZE ROOFDECK SURFACE. AT ITS MOST, THE FAÇADE LIGHTING CAN DANCE IN A VARIETY OF WAYS.
