COBO HOUSE is a 3,000 sqf restaurant and also a venue for exhibitions and cultural activities. Designer hopes to take the guests on a journey through the heritage. Inspired by the century-old local transportation, designer has created a bespoke set of brass chandeliers “Ding Ding” for the space. Named after the iconic sound a tram makes and resembling the tram rails, this lighting was designed as a tribute to the city’s heritage. The smooth yet sturdy lines bring a contemporary ambience. Not only does the lamp illuminate the space, but it also projects a romantic shadow, reflecting Designer’s philosophy of combining mood creation with practicality.
Everything in the restaurant tells a story, including the set of Venice Murano handblown glass “Water Moment”, which was created to accentuate the inviting and relaxing ambience extending from the courtyard to the bar table in Artisan Room. The architectural lighting contributes to the general illumination and layered visual effect.
