Entry Description

Le Pont means a bridge. While placing a huge void and a bridge in the middle of the space with an impressive signature pendant light, we concerned how we connect each space and customers physically, visually, and meaningfully with various lighting expressions. You may recognize the all contents such as bakery, lounge, coffee bar, and restaurant, are placed and connected to each other by surrounding the bridge and staircases. The lounge has combinations of curtains & pendant lights as dividing partitions. Illustrations of book shelves & table lamps have been printed to the curtains and all the pendants have been purposely placed to the table lamp positions. These see-though curtains may divide and keep privacy very softly and moody. Because of this semi-private lighting partitions, we can expect the spontaneous communications between each customer by letting them face to each other. We concerned not to build up exact wall partitions and tried to keep the spaces more opened.
