Entry Description

The ID worked on a theme which incorporated dark finishes. This became a challenging aspect. It was decided that lighting shall be used to impart color to the black canvas. RGB sources were used to serve as a major component of lighting design. Elevator lobby serves as the entrance to the lounge. Across the entire ceiling of the lobby; an array of acrylic rods fixed to the end emitting light fibers, acts as a massive chandelier. With the light of the amber LED illuminated fiber filtering through them, these rods serve as the primary light source in the lobby. In lounge, trimless downlights blend into the ceiling . Decorative pendants and table lamps adorn miscellaneous sitting areas. Cloud shaped pendant modules with miscellaneous configurations are used. Counters are backlit with warm white LED sources. The other feature utilizing RGB LED’s include a lit composite acrylic panel wall, illuminated with linear RGB LED’s sandwiched between panels.
