Mere steps from the iconic Huntington Beach Pier overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Pasea Hotel & Spa takes it’s inspiration from the vibrant, artistic culture and communal spirit of the area. Reflective of the destination, Pasea Hotel and Spa is a modern hotel, elevated from the classic Coastal vibe with a unique design and casual style. Guests enjoy spectacular views of the coastline from any of the 250 guest rooms. The hotel offers a signature restaurant with stunning floor to ceiling ocean views, outdoor seating and two bars including and open air bar and lounge. Pasea also offers a wellness center with a boutique salon, relaxation rooms, state of the art fitness center and outdoor garden. Additionally, there is an expansive ballroom, meeting rooms, special event room and an ocean front event lawn.

The primary goal of the lighting design was to tailor plans and specifications to address the many varied uses of a luxury resort. Special care was given to create a dramatic yet casual sense to the indoor and outdoor spaces. LED light sources were used exclusively for all architectural lighting minimizing maintenance cost for such a large property. Along. A comprehensive preset dimming system providing the operator flexibility and energy savings as required to comply with the stringent energy codes. Although the original lighting design and specifications were within budget, the overall project was not, requiring multiple rounds of value engineering, yet we were able to maintain the overall basis of design and performance of the lighting system. Since the lighting design exceeded the clients exceptions, we are now their preferred lighting consultant. Thoughtful illumination to enhance the transparency between the indoor and outdoor spaces provides guests with a unique open, airy, healthy, comfortable environment for their coastal California experience.
