Entry Description

GlerÃ¡rtorg Shopping Centre is located in the northern town of Arkureyri in Iceland. Due to its latitude, this town faces long and dark winters, making lighting design a very sensitive subject. The faÃ§ade lighting scheme was carefully integrated with the faÃ§ade design, minimizing unnecessary lighting pollution. The faÃ§ade lighting system also provides general lighting for the building access. The lighting systems includes color dynamic features used for different festivities.
