Designed, based on the simple philosophy of 'less is more', the Source Lamp is about the abstraction of a conventional form of a lamp- the projection giving it new meaning and light.
Design-
A simple cutout at the back of a rectangular wooden block, with a light source attached to it, through which dissipates light in an angle such that it projects the shape of the cutout on the surface behind it- in this case, the shape of a lampshade, which leaves the block and the light as an abstracted form of a lampshade (when lit).
