Entry Description

In the East, circles represent a form of completeness and happiness. In the West, squares represent logic and rationality.
In this space, the combination of Eastern and Western elements catalyzes a harmonious dialogue between the two.
Other than satisfying the basic functions of “living”, this modern home plays a richer role, as if it is a playland, offering varied blends of fun physically, functionally and sensually.
Two bowl-shaped sculptures of different radii seem to penetrate through the ceiling of the open space. Their large scale and top down configuration create a bold sensory effect. Combined with lighting elements, these sculptures become functional as well.
Besides subtly marking a designated area, the bowl-shaped sculptures, with their bottom side having undergone special matte copper finishing, display the beauty of exquisite Eastern aesthetics.
